Thank You & Goodbye

Since April 2019, we’ve helped over 200,000 users experience the magic of changing their voice messages to text instantly. Thank you for being a part of this.

We are sad to share that we will be shutting down Voicepop, from 1 October 2019 onwards.

This was not a decision that we made lightly. The team has worked hard on Voicepop, and love that we have been able to help those of us who hate listening to voice messages, who have hearing difficulties, and who find listening to voice messages inconvenient.

However, it has become clear that magic just wasn’t enough to keep developing and supporting Voicepop, and to pay the bills.

Here’s one last magical silver lining though…

You can still use Voicepop for free on the iPhone

A basic, forever free version of Voicepop will be available for download and use on the iPhone:

– It supports 45 languages including English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese

– It supports voice and video messages up to 1 min in length

– It works offline even if you have no WiFi or data

To continue using Voicepop on the iPhone, you’ll need to update to the latest build on the App Store on 1 Oct. This release will be our last update to Voicepop, and our way of helping users who have supported us thus far.

What about Android users?

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we were not able to create a forever free Voicepop with quality transcriptions for Android users.

If you are an Android user, you will no longer be able to download and use Voicepop to convert new messages to text from 1 October onwards. However, you will still be able to access your past transcriptions on the Voicepop app.

Thank you again for all your support and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact us at info@voicepop.com and we will do our best to assist.
